| The notion of unitary Lie algebra, introduced by Allison-Faulkner in 1993, is a generalization of twisted loop algebra by replacing the commutative coordinate algebra with noncommutative one. In this talk we first review the vertex operator realizations for Kac-Moody algebras and extended affine Lie algebras, then we deal with the Boson-Fermion realization for a class of unitary Lie algebras, which is indeed a generaliztion of Wakimoto's realization for affine Kac-Moody algebras.
